Full Version[]
Last summer we met
We started as friends
I can't tell you how it all happened
Then autumn it came
We were never the same
Those nights everything felt like magic
And I wonder if you miss me too
If you don't here's the one thing
That I wish you knew
I think about you
Every morning when I open my eyes
I think about you
Every evening when I turn out the lights
I think about you
Every moment every day of my life
You're on my mind all the time, it's true
I think about you, you you, you you
I think about you, you you, you you
Would you know what to say
If I saw you today
Would you let it all crumble to pieces
'Cause I know that I should
Forget you if I could
I can yet there's so many reasons
I think about you
Every morning when I open my eyes
I think about you
Every evening when I turn out the lights
I think about you
Every moment every day of my life
You're on my mind all the time, it's true
I think about you, you you, you you
I think about you, you you, you you
How long till I stop pretending
What we have is never ending
Oh ohh
If all we are is just a moment
Don't forget me 'cause I won't and
I can't help myself
I think about you ooohh
I think about you ooohh
I think about you
Every morning when I open my eyes
I think about you
Every evening when I turn out the lights
I think about you
Every moment every day of my life
You're on my mind all the time, it's true
I think about you, you you, you you
I think about you, you you, you you

Trivia[]
- Austin serenades Ally with this song that she already wrote.
- This is Ally's second song written about Austin and her. The first was You Can Come to Me from Chapters & Choices.
- This song is about Austin and Ally's relationship.
- Ally originally wrote the song about Austin and bookmarked the page with the card that says "There's no way I can make it without you" from Austin in Girlfriends & Girl Friends. She wrote it on how she started developing feelings for him. Austin finds the song and discovers she had feelings for him all along. He then samples the song and sings it to her.
- This is the second song that Ally writes and Austin takes it without telling her, the first being Double Take from Rockers & Writers.
- Austin taking this song without Ally's permission could also be a nod to their first meeting, as it represents their development from partners to being a couple.
- In the episode, a series of clips are shown during Austin's performance of this song. The following episodes that are represented by clips are: Rockers & Writers, Club Owners & Quinceaneras, Girlfriends & Girl Friends, Chapters & Choices, Costumes & Courage, Zaliens & Cloud Watchers, Campers & Complications, and Magazines & Made-Up Stuff.
- This song marks the start of Austin and Ally's relationship.
- Two of the clips used in the song have errors. The scene from Campers & Complications has Ally turning away from Austin way earlier, and the scene from Magazines & Made-Up Stuff cuts out Brooke.
- Austin was happy when he found the song and realized that Ally has liked him this whole time.
- When Dez sang the song horribly in the end, he sings an extra line "I think about you, there's a love in your eyes, love in your eyes".
- The full version of this song was released on July 9, 2013 along with the full version of You Can Come to Me on Youtube (with Disney Channel's VEVO account).
- A brief portion of the song is heard in Family & Feuds.
- This song was featured on the Season 2 soundtrack - Austin & Ally: Turn It Up.
- In Fanatics & Favors, Jace said that Austin sang this song, even though it wasn't shown, and that Dez cried through it.
