At a Team Austin meeting in Sonic Boom, the gang is introduced to Demonica Dixon, who wants to represent Austin Moon in his career. While the foursome are happy with the way things are in their team, Austin is convinced by Demonica to fire off his friends in order to benefit his career, one by one, so that she can work alone with him.

Prior to this, Austin and Ally are shown to be working on the song Better Together, Austin becomes unsure of how well the gang are helping with his music career. In order to step up the game, Trish books him at the Miami Jam-A-Thon. Though for some reason, the times get mixed up, making Austin miss his performance. That is what causes Trish to get fired as his manager.

Later on, Demonica starts to take over Ally's place in being the leader of the Team Austin meeting and after listening to Dez mention Spike Stevens as his favorite director gets Stevens to direct Austin's next music video for him, replacing Dez as Austin's video director.

As for Ally, she gives the demo for the new song to Demonica, but while she and Austin are having lunch, Demonica tells her that she didn't like the song and instead hired professional songwriters, which is to Austin's dismay. Though this is somewhat made up for him by Demonica booking him a gig to play Times Square on New Year's Eve. Ally joins Trish and Dez at another table, all three of them now having been replaced.

Due to a bad dream later on, Austin realizes that he misses his friends. In addition, Ally and Trish and Dez find out Demonica's treachery. She threw away Ally's song without even listening to it, and sabotaged Austin's Jam-A-Thon gig to make Trish look bad by having one of her assistants pose as Trish over the phone, impersonating her voice. After Austin apologizes for letting his friends go, the gang plots to get revenge on Demonica for what she's done to them.

At a meeting presented by Demonica about becoming Austin's new manager, she mentions that they'll rule in the music business. But when Austin's brought up on stage to speak, he says that he'd rather have his friends by his side in his career the whole way than having a professional team get him there quicker. He proves that he doesn't need Demonica by showing her and the people in the audience the music video they put for Better Together and fires her afterwards. As for the last part of their plan, Demonica's assistants (who through out the episode are shown being abused and humiliated by her and having had enough of her doing that to them) fire meatballs at her with a tennis ball machine from Trish's previous job.

Throughout the episode, Trish has been managing her new client - Statue Guy - along with Dez in place of Austin, but by the end, she is fired as his manager and heads off with his statue kids.

Memorable Quotes

Austin: Who are you?
Demonica Dixon: Demonica Dixon. I manage seven of the top acts on the pop charts. *cell phone rings* Hello. Rihanna, great. *hangs up* Make that eight. How'd would you like to be nine?

Austin: I kinda like being 15 'cause when I was nine I had chicken pox.

Trish: Whoa. I'm Austin's manager. Slow your boat, lady.

Ally: Yeah. Please obey the speed limit on your roll, lady.

Demonica Dixon: But it's called show business, not show friendness. Oh. Write that down.
Dez: Is friendness two words or...?

Trish: Not you Dez.

Trish: Yeah, nice try. But it takes a lot more than a fancy lunch and some background music to impress Austin.

Austin: Check it out! They turned my leftovers into a swan!

Demonica Dixon: What's your wildest dream?

Austin: That's easy. I being chased through a candy cane forest by a viking, my grandma, and a peanut vendor. They're throwing cantaloupes at me. Then, it gets weird.

Trish: Hey guys. I've been thinking about Demonica Dixon. That finger snappy, blue-tooth wearing, puppy hating thief.
Ally: How do you know she hates puppies?

Trish: I don't. I just needed a third thing.

Austin: Trish. You said I was supposed to perform at four.
Trish: Because you were. And I can prove it because I wrote it on a napkin. No. That's my homework assignment. I must have written it somewhere else.
Ally: What's on your hand?
Trish: Oh, that's just my work schedule. I don't need that.
Dez: You wrote something on my back, today.

Trish: Oh. That just says you're a bozo.

Trish: I showed up 30 minutes early for our meeting on Wednesday.

Austin: The meeting was Tuesday.

Ally: She is not that disorganized.
Demonica Dixon: What is that on your elbow?

Ally: Oh. That's just Trish's grocery list. Apparently she needs milk, eggs and, uh, paper.

Trish: And I'm managing a new client.
Austin: Who?
Trish: Him.

Ally: That's a person? I just polished him.

Trish: Client stealer.

Demonica Dixon: I'd insult you back but you have meatballs on your head. Do I need to?

Austin: No way! Spike Stevens is going to direct my next video!
Dez: That's so awesome. Happy dance. Happy dance. Happy dance. Happy dance.
Austin: Wait a minute, I think you just talked yourself out of the job.

Dez: Aww. Sad dance.

Ally: Dez is easy gong. I'm sure he's gotten over it by now.
Dez: *Sobbing* I'll never get over this.

Ally: See? He's fine.

Ally: She threw away my song without even listening to it.
Trish: And she sabotaged your Jam-A-Thon gig to make me look bad.
Dez: And she broke the keyboard on the wall and put it back up there to make it look like nothing happened to it.
Ally: Dez?

Dez: Fine, I broke it. But she's still a very bad person.

Austin: Guys, I made a huge mistake! I shouldn't have let Demonica fire you.
Ally: What happened? What made you change your mind?

Austin: I had the worst nightmare. I was playing New Year's Eve without you guys. And I was out of peanuts! But mostly the New Year's Eve thing.

Austin: Well, I have a way to show Demonica that I don't need her anymore.
Trish: And I have a way to show Demonica that she messed with the wrong people.
Ally: Team Austin is back.
Austin: Yeah, I don't wanna be famous without my friends
Ally: Thanks Austin we missed you. *Auslly hug*
Dez: Welcome back buddy. *Austin, Ally & Dez hug*

Trish: I guess we're hugging. *Team Austin hug*

Trish: Sorry I was late I was doing manager stuff for Austin. It will never happen again.

Statue Guy: Oh I've heard that one before. Trish, you're fired. C'mon kids. Let's go.
