It's an Austin & Ally Wiki Holiday!

Deck the halls with bells of Austin! Fa la la la la, la la la la! Tis the season to be Ally! Fa la la la la, la la la la! Dawn we now are very rossome! Fa la la la la la la la la! Sing the great laurific carol! Fa la la la la, la la la la! Like my song? I hope so because it is now Christmas time on the Austin & Ally Wiki!

All throughout the month of December, we, the Austin & Ally Wiki, will be decking the halls and feeling that Christmas soul as we get into the Holdiay spirit! We will be having 3 grand events, yes 3 events, all throughout this jolly season! Not only will we be celebrating all the amazing holidays, but we will be celebrating the Austin & Jessie & Ally special! Keep reading for the events!

Holiday Profile Decorating Contest

Just like our recent fall profile decorating contest, we are hosting a Holiday Profile Decorating Contest! The rules will be the same! Channel your jolly spirit, grab your Christmas decorations, a cup of hot chocolate, and decorate your profile to a Christmas, holiday, and/or winter theme! You can use anything from pictures, to videos, to music, to templates, to CSS, to decorations! All we want you to do is be creative and help us get into our Christmas spirits! And we will also have returning mentors from last time!

Jessie1010 (Creativity and CSS) - Jessie1010 (me) will help you get creative and use some awesome CSS! Don't know what picture to put on your profile? Put a gif of falling snow! You don't know what music you should use? Christmas Is Coming? by R5 will get you in that Christmas mood! If you need any creative help just ask Jessie1010! He also does CSS!
FashionGal (Monitoring and CSS)- Got a problem with someone taking your idea? Go to FashionGal, she's on top of all of that! She makes sure the entire contest is fair and in order. And if you need some CSS tips, she'll help ya out!
CupcakeAuslly (Creativity and CSS)- CupcakeAuslly is your creativity go to girl! Need inspiration? Need some ideas that will surely put you in the lead? Go to CupcakeAuslly! She will tell you what you need. Not only that, but she will help you out with CSS!

Here the rules:

Try not to completely copy someone else's work. Try to be creative! Getting inspiration from one is one thing but copying is another.
When submitting an entry, please not who helped with your profile if you got help.
All images must be appropriate. All inappropriate and/or disturbing pictures will be taken off immediately.
You are welcome to use any pictures used on content pages on the wiki!
Please ask another user before using a picture of theirs that is used on their profile.
If you do not want people to use an image that is yours, please put your username in the caption.
Anonymous users are allowed to join in the fun too! Just ask a mentor if you want to participate so we can direct you to your profile page.

The winner of the profile decorating contest will receive: the profile to be tweeted by our wiki (a shout out), you'll get your own area on the main page personalized just for you, recognition, the joy of winning, and this time we have something new. One of our members of the event planning committee, Austinandallywiki will donate an Austin & Ally episode of your choice! The winner will be able to choose their own episode and Austinandallywiki will email you the full episode! The episode is bought from iTunes and given to you, so yes, everything will be legal. :)

To enter, all you have to do is go here and add your username/name. You can sign up whenever, just remember your profile must be finished by December 21, 8PM ET, when the contest ends!

The winner will be chosen by the mentors, but don't worry! You can support your favorite profiles here. You can vote on all of the added users and the mentors will take the ones with the most votes into major consideration when we choose the winner! Mentors will be allowed to enter the contest but they will not be considered unless they get votes!? :)

UPDATE: The profile decorating contest has been extended! You now have more time to decorate your profiles! You have until Christmas Eve to decorate! After Christmas Eve, you will no longer be permitted to decorate and any extra changes made to entered profiles will be reverted. The winner will be announced at the end of the week!

Scavenger Hunt

The next event will be a wiki wide scavenger hunt! Starting December 10, users will move from page to page, gathering clues to get to the final page. First, users will be given a clue. That clue will lead them to a page on the wiki. At the bottom of that page will be another clue that will lead them to another page! Users will keep going from page to page, solving each clue to get to the next page. The clues will be one of the following: a riddle, a picture or a question. The first person to get to the final page wins! But to win, you must tell the route you took, and list all the pages. And there will be more than one final page so more than one person can win! But here's the catch, it all will center around Austin & Jessie & Ally! All of the clues will focus on the crossover! So to participate, you must see the special first! After watching the special on December 7, you can come on anytime the week of December 10 and complete the scavenger hunt! All users who complete the scavenger hunt will indeed get a badge! There are a few rules:

You cannot share your answers with another user
You must complete the scavenger hunt to get a badge

The runners of the scavenger hunt will be Austinandallywiki and Jessie1010. For any questions just go to them. So who's ready to get searchin'?

UPDATE: The scavenger hunt is still available to go on just for fun! The winners will be announced at the end of the week! Please keep going on the hunt because there is still at least one route that no one has gotten yet! :)

Secret Santa!

This is the last event for the Holiday season! It's called Secret Santa! Users can sign up for this event. We're all going to be Secret Santas! All signed up users will choose another signed up user(s). They will make something for that user(s). A poem, a picture, a video, anything! Then on the week of Christmas (starting December 24), users will give their chosen user(s) their gift! The point of this event is to make better friends on the wiki, to come together and to make new friends! You don't need a phone or an iPad or a toy airplane for Christmas or Hanukkah! Just a beautiful picture or a sweet poem can brighten someone's day and that's our goal! To sign up go here! To choose a person to give your gift to click "Vote up". Do not tell anyone who your person is and make sure you remember! They will find out on Christmas week! You can choose as many people as you want! You can tell how many people a person is getting a gift from by looking at their votes. Try to choose someone who does not have that many people. Choose someone who you have not talked to! Try to make new friends! So just get your Christmas Soul and go for it! Spread the love! All users who participate in the Secret Santa will get a shout out on our wiki Twitter. UPDATE: Starting Sunday, December 23, users can now give their gifts to their secret Santas! Gift giving will last the entire week and will end Sunday, December 30!

Secret Santas will give their gifts! Participating users will all recieve shout outs on our wiki Twitter throughout the week for their thoughtful act!
